Regular Events

• Wednesday Play Date:  Every Wednesday is playtime at Busy Bee Toys. Stop in any Wednesday from 10:30 to 12:30 and the store is yours to explore. Have fun with our toys, play some games and meet some new friends!
• Private Playdates:  Calling all playgroups, mothers' clubs and more! Contact Busy Bee Toys to schedule your own play session. I'll open up the store early so you can have an hour to explore the store on your own

Special Events for July

•  Please join us this Friday July 3rd from 6-9pm for Busy Bee Toys’ monthly First Friday event!  Meet local author, artist and composer, Carole P. Sonstein.  Carole will present NANA BANANA, her storybook with CD which addresses the situation of how grandparents can make themselves memorable to their grandchildren who live far away.
• Children, parents and grandparents are invited to come for a reading and book signing of NANA BANANA, as well as sing along with The Nana Banana Song.
• Banana crafts and banana treats will be provided for the children to take home as souvenirs of a fun-filled evening with NANA BANANA!
• Come join us…we promise you that the NANA BANANA song will make you smile!

• In addition to the in-store fun, we’re proud to also be hosting a terrific event with Lights, Camera, Acting! At the Pine St. parking lot—just one door down from Busy Bee Toys!
• 6:00-9:30pm: Special children’s event at the Pine Street Parking Lot!  Lights, Camera, Acting! Family Workshop-Does your child fly around pretending to be a super hero?  Does your teen love rocking out to Guitar Hero?  Has dad ever acted like a crazy monkey to distract the kids?  Has mom pretended to snore when the movie is a bore to make everyone laugh?
• Well, step up your skills (and thrills) with a theatre workshop for the whole family! This is a unique experience where your children can see you in a new light, and you can take part in something special with your child. 
• Join Lights, Camera, Acting! Theater Fun for Everyone at First Friday in July to play acting games, practice improvisation exercises, create characters, and so much more.  You don’t have to be a dramatic or outgoing family to have fun with us…you just need to be ready to laugh!  Performing on stage is a creative activity that builds self esteem and poise, but the benefits go way beyond that.  Acting and performing involves teamwork, self control, focus, empathy and other important life skills.  Join us with your children, ages 6-17, and have a fantastic experience with the whole family.Wednesdays 10:30-12:30pm: Free play time at Busy Bee Toys!
